Planting Seeds

You can't make realizations for other people. They have to make them for themselves. You can attempt planting a seed, but it will only grow once the conditions are right within them. Often, you won't be present when those favourable conditions arise. That's why trying to change someone is so hard. That's why trying to change the world is so hard. You're only in control of planting the seed, you don't have much control over when or if the favourable conditions will ever arise. So if you care, plant seeds, leave a trail, but forfeit control over whether they will ever grow. If one does grow, it will be shaped by its ever changing environment. And the best part is, it just might grow into something more beautiful than you could have ever imagined.
